After @LITapalooza it was time for KidLitapalooza! How special to watch kids connect with their favorite authors! @lorenlong gave an outstanding key-note and I loved helping @KariALavelle with her nonfiction session! Special shoutout to @Mrs_McHugh for being so darn amazing!

Day 2 was another fantastic day of @LITapalooza! Got so many amazing ideas from the panels today about drawing and word games, author visits, and connecting students and authors. Already excited about next year! 📚

Fifteen years ago, I went with my third grade grade class to meet Doreen Cronin when Thump, Quack, Moo was released. A few months ago, I fell in love with a new picture book called Lawrence & Sophia and then realized Doreen had written it! I reached out to reconnect with her.
