@LuvOfLiteracy @TCRWP @GreenwoodKISD @KleinISD Awe! Miss you too. I’m in Klein working as an MCL. So I teach 4th grade half the day, then coach the other ELA teachers on my team for the other half of the day. This is the first year of this position, so it’s been a lot!

It’s been awhile since I’ve tweeted. This new role is very overwhelming; however, I love being back in the classroom. Especially when I see the kiddos doing some thoughtful writing about reading with a focus on complicated characters! @TCRWP @GreenwoodKISD @KleinISD

Our first week of book club meetings were amazing! We watched a mentor video of book club before meeting with our group, which set students up to mirror this behavior and talk in their own clubs. ⁦@TCRWP⁩ ⁦@TCMcMeghann⁩ ⁦@GreenwoodKISD⁩ ⁦@KleinISD⁩

We had such a great labsite with @TCMcMeghann working on strategy groups using the progressions and book clubs using the text bands. @TCRWP @KleinISD @GreenwoodKISD

This has been a challenging year, so I haven’t tweeted as much. But - with all that said, there are some amazing things happening in the classroom. I do enjoy being back in it! Book clubs are in full swing 🎉🎉 @TCRWP @KleinISD @GreenwoodKISD

This student has really taken ownership of her notebook! She starting categorizing her jots using text band features, and then added more to her original ideas. She even wrote a page about how she connected several of her ideas❤️ @TCRWP @GreenwoodKISD @AldaneseJ @abartholomew22
