Had the opportunity to attend the QTEL training with my co-teacher. We learned so much and are so excited to teach our colleagues & implement it in our classroom. #lcps
We have been learning about how water is a major natural resource in VA. To show students how “we all live downstream” they completed the Freddie Fish experiment. Each group had a fish who experienced diff kinds of water pollution. It was an amazing and eye opening experience
Students have been learning about Virginia’s geography. We learned about the 5 regions, their topography & their products/industries. We took what we learned and made a 3D map of Va. They did so well collaborating together. Project inspo from @MissBargiel4
It’s been a busy week in Fourth Grade! We spent some time at Starbooks Café! Students enjoyed sampling different books, while sipping on their drinks (juice). So many students found new genres that they had never read before! Our first room transformation was a success.
Collaborated with my incredible teammate on this fun review game, #PlaceValue Relay! Students got in teams and had to scoot over to a card that had a number on it. Once back at their spot everyone had a task. Each task focused on each of the standard strands. It was SO much fun!
This week #4thgrade practiced using the scientific method with the Mentos & Soda Experiment. The results were kind of surprising and everyone had a BLAST! #lcps23@CedarLaneES
When I signed up for my undergrad @wgu I had no idea the community it would create! It’s so much more than an online school. They continue to support not only me, but my coworkers as well. WGU really is the best school to further your education. #lcps23#wguteachers
Great first week of school! Boy am I exhausted. My team went to dinner, and now I’m cozied up with my babies relaxing. Hope everyone has a great long weekend.
