@Raworthontherun @marathonDsables I made the first 3 days and then the bug got me before CP1 on the long day. But my running buddy finished and was 22nd overall!

Last stage of @marathonDsables today. It sounds like it has been the toughest of years. One runner has died and almost half the runners have dropped out - highest number in the race’s history. Extreme heat and a vomiting bug that swept through camp. Only 350 expected to finish.

@MrAndrewCotter Awesome! We lost our black lab just over 2 years ago but we heard late last night our next one was born at 9pm yesterday! Merlin is coming to Cornwall! 🐾

Before the weather turned, we were able to get back out there for the first time in months. And it really was good.

10 years ago today. My 1st @LondonMarathon. Collapsed at mile 24 with a temperature of 41C but got back up after 2 hours with @stjohnambulance and finished in 6:22:57 ... So glad I kept going. What a decade of wonderful adventures it led to. #loverunning

#centurioncommunity it’s been a blast! 600 miles done together apart with my bestie. Seemed appropriate that she was on the NDW and I was on the Camel Trail in Cornwall as we “crossed the line”. Both places we have run together!
