I am feeling uneasy watching the lead actors of Rãmãyana and Chhatrapati Shivãji Mahãraj. They could have chosen someone, either with a clean image, or a newcomer. It is hard to respect, and bow to, those who have been doing dubious roles in the past. Is it just me?

There is a consistent hit job on twitter against #Ramayana. A person is putting in his entire life savings for such a massive scale project to bring an Indian epic to the world and all we can do is criticise. If this is our attitude, no one will attempt to bring our history to the world in future.

Have seen the #Ramayana: Part One teaser… and honestly, this feels like a high-budget VFX show, not Ramayana. Too glossy, too artificial...where’s the soul, the divinity? Everything looks staged, nothing feels natural. Casting doesn’t convince either. Bhagwan Ram and Maa Sita aren’t just characters.. you need that aura, that grace… this just feels off. And when the makers don’t seem connected to the essence, it shows on screen. Right now, this looks more like a tech demo than a timeless epic. Big budget doesn’t mean big impact!! #BoycottRamayanamovie

Here’s my take on the Ramayana movie: > Gonna be the biggest disaster of Indian cinema. > The whole movie looks like a Star Plus TV serial. > Ram ji doesn’t feel like God at all. > Ram ji went to vanvaas in a young age, but Ranbir looks like 45-year-old straight. > Too much VFX and AI use. It doesn’t feel connected. > The Pushpak Vimaan feels like Marvel's spaceship.

We were told this #Ramayana would be India’s “reply to world cinema”… seriously? Because if that teaser is the “reply,” it feels more like a rough draft sent to a Hollywood IMAX screen. All that aggressive hype about showcasing Indian culture globally sounds great on paper. But what we got is flat, lifeless VFX (yes, better than #Adipurush), generic frames, and a rather juvenile sense of scale and emotion. Nothing about it screams global standard, forget setting a benchmark. An epic like #Ramayana deserves sincerity and refinement. With a reported ₹4000 crore budget, the visuals should reflect that ambition. Hype isn’t something you manufacture through PR.. it’s something you earn through execution. At this point, the criticism isn’t harsh… it’s fair.
