Lately there's been a lot of talk about “sense of speed”. It feels like many people assume that more = better, but I don’t think that’s true, It’s not about having more or less speed sensation, it’s about having the right amount. If you exaggerate it, you often lose clarity and control, especially with cockpit cameras. In many cases, games compensate for that with “just push forward” driving , and sometimes you can’t even properly turn around or drive in the opposite direction. Often, this is done to make the player feel like they are driving well even though they are not, It's not something I particularly like.
