I'm sorry, but there is still no comparison; every WoW player has access to housing from the start. No lottery system and no worry about maintaining your house if you take a break from the game. There is also infinitely more decor obtained in-game than through the shop.

@vampsob Happy friend cozy time is fine, but it needs to be earned. Nothing about the WoW narrative in the last 6-7 years warrants so much friendship is magic there needs to be friction among the factions.

I’m fine with WoW having cozy aspects, it’s a comfort game to many people, myself included. But what I’m NOT fine with is completely erasing the harsher grittier part of the game that made WoW appealing to so many and focusing too much on cozy core vibes.

@aokatabito Not to mention SE has like ~1% of items in the shop for housing meanwhile in WoW you can have a look how much items are for free and how much are for sale... the "for free ingame" options aint that much. :)

They all say WoW housing killed XIV housing but I havent seen XIV housing charge 75$ for some decorations. (:

@arcanistsaphras I don’t care about the auto demolition system honestly. I play enough that I keep it and don’t have to worry. You can also get an apartment if you want to decorate a living space and that doesn’t get demo’d The only paid for decorations in ff are part of past events

@arcanistsaphras FF14 players getting hauty about their dogwater housing system are so funny bro. It can take YEARS to win a housing plot and then you're chained to a sub fee or you risk losing it within 45 days.

@Hyaku_Giggi @ArakonePiro If only there were an MMO where "denying other players" was never a problem cuz ALL players get a house at a low cost without a dumb lottery. You can take a break and never lose your house. You can even own a private neighborhood with only your friends. WoW Housing > FF14. 😎

The issue with the tree housing in WoW isn't the price. Its that you have to pay for it at all. Massive bugs, too many currencies to count, constant content jammed down our throats while gearing pve & pvp gear. I really liked Midnight at the start but im getting burned out
