The 4th Conference of the NAM PN dedicated to the theme of “Commemorating 70 Years of the Bandung Spirit: The Role of Parliaments in Upholding the Bandung Principles” was successfully held in the Tashkent, on April 6, 2025, in the margins of the 150 IPU Assembly.

On Dec. 22, the "#Decolonization Dialogues: Legacy, Challenges, and Progress" event, jointly organized by #NAMYO, @NAM_PNetwork, and the @bakuinitiative, focused on discussing the progress, challenges, and impact of decolonization efforts. 🙌🏼 Mr. Rustam Mahmudov from the NAM #Parliamentary Network, Mr. Abbas Abbasov from the #Baku Initiative Group, and Ms. Leyla Hasanova from NAMYO delivered opening remarks. Also, a video was presented, showcasing the historical backdrop of colonialism, #NAM’s endeavors in confronting colonial legacies, and the Azerbaijani Chairmanship's actions to combat #neocolonial practices.

October 25 marked the 4th anniversary of #Azerbaijan’i #NAM Chairmanship. Azerbaijan has spared no effort to promote #BandungPrinciples, to contribute to solidarity & to facilitate cooperation within the Movement. Among others, @NAM_PNetwork & @namyouthorg have been established.

On October 25, NAM PN meeting took place on the sidelines of #IPU147 in Luanda🇦🇴. Over 80 participants from 30 national parliaments & int. org-s attended event. Progress & future activities of the NAM PN under Azerbaijani chairmanship were successfully debated at the side-event.

The next Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network is scheduled to be held within the framework of the #IPU147 on October 25 at 10:30 - 12:00. Venue: National Assembly of the Republic of Angola - room 1.08 (1st floor).
