NFL officials gathered in Dallas last weekend for their annual Kickoff meeting, reviewing key points of emphasis from the preseason.

During preseason, replay crews head to Art McNally Gameday Central in New York to continue preparing for the regular season.

“Without you and what you do, it’s just practice.” The NFL Officiating staff wishes all interscholastic officials throughout the country good luck on their upcoming season.

Wayne Mackie represented the National Football League with dignity and class and possessed a tremendous passion for the game. He was a respected leader who impacted the lives of all who knew him.

The Art McNally Award honors past or current game officials who have demonstrated exemplary professionalism, leadership, and commitment to sportsmanship both on the football field and in the community.

In #CINvsKC the ruling on the field was intentional grounding. There was no CIN receiver in the immediate area of the pass.

In #CINvsKC the ruling on the field was defensive pass interference, due to early contact by KC #6 on CIN #88.

In #CINvsKC the ruling on the field was an incomplete pass. After review, the ruling stands. KC #19 did not maintain control of the ball throughout the process. KC loses the challenge and is charged a timeout.

In #SFvsPHI the ruling on field was an incomplete pass. The ball was coming out prior to the hand coming forward. The rule allows for immediate recovery after the whistle has been blown.
