@rlegrow Sometimes people tweet us to inquire about the status of their application or ballot and we're happy to oblige. Jennifer tweeted Canada Post and tagged our account and we responded.

@kristinaennis @NLElections I sent in my application the day of the deadline through the email they provided with all my personal information attached and I’ve yet to hear anything on it

I am still genuinely curious why a confirmation email or something wasn’t sent to people who did apps online. There is a LOT of people wondering if their app “went through”. @NLElections

@NLElections where’s my voter info!!?? I sent in 3 applications for special ballots and the last one I sent in came but the first 2 have not. What a shamble, call it all off until we’re away from level 5!! What shady thing are they planning

@NLElections I applied for my mail-in special ballot on Friday the 12th, and I still haven’t received it and I live in St. John’s (assuming mail delays would be lesser). Is this normal? Do I need to contact someone?

@NLElections @CBCNL Among Elections NL, CBC newscasts recently heard, assorted politicians and social media posters I can find no consensus. It needs to be absolutely clear: Must mail-in ballots be postmarked by March 12, or received at Elections NL in St. John's by March 12?
