There's a lot of misinformation out there — the NCAA has decided not to extend eligibility for Division II athletes who previously played at a junior college or NAIA. Only JUCO/NAIA transfers who moved to Division I programs will get an extra year. Reminder those teams just cut a lot of players to get to 105 players.
