I have just realised it’s us the poor who do a lot of make up for our weddings.

We do not owe society babies. We do not owe men our physical and emotional labour. We do not need to be wives and mothers in order to have fulfilling lives. Now more than ever women are realizing how happy they can be without a man. We’re done with patriarchy.

You have to because your hands most probably have been tortured by hard works, peeling matooke everyday, washing dishes, clothes for years and your skin is ever out in the sun. Your mental health is always at risk because of worrying about your future. Now that my friend can’t make you glow😄

Banyankore can be whatever you people portray them but on simplicity, they take it all. A Munyankore will have all the money, buy whatever they want but they’ll never be extravagant. Their events are always simple, classy, expensive but not too expensive, without even showing off. This Sasii wedding is the perfect example. If it were some of you, we’d see Shein, gold, glitters all over the event 😂

Kwame, to be fair, there’s lots of Ugandans with similar or even better credentials but what they don’t have is that testicular lottery win. It doesn’t help to lie to the world that the new boss at UEDCL somehow got there because and only because of her “credentials”. We already have been through this with Jennifer Bamuturaki and Uganda Airlines. We all saw how she stunk up the joint and now y’all can’t touch her with a barge pole. Let’s not try and hide alleged nepotism behind “credentials”.

Women just want high-quality partners and are refusing to settle. Men are digging in, insisting on being nasty uncultured humans and thinking that women will settle with them one way or the other lmao.

I am 51 and deeply regret not having kids. I was stringently brainwashed into believing that I should never have children. I’ve never even been pregnant as far as I know. I was on birth control from age 16 through age 49.

A woman was shot by a police officer while driving on a public road near Speaker Anita Among’s home. The police officer didn’t even attempt to save her life as she struggled to get herself to hospital on her own while losing a lot of blood. Speaker’s people say she was in Bukedea so the woman didn’t even pose any security threat to the speaker (not that if she was home Ugandans should be denied to use the road). Speaker’s people also say she’s in touch with the family but the police is apparently still “hunting” for the woman. Why do we have leaders who think they are gods? And it is not just the Speaker. Julius who was killed on Christmas Eve of 2024 was shot because of some other “big person”. If you guys want to drive on public roads alone perhaps you could allocate money to construct roads only for yourselves because as it is now, the roads are few and narrow and congested but you still come like you’re rushing to do anything ground breaking and violently force people into trenches and now even shoot them!!
