Microsoft is moving to 100% native apps for Windows 11. They are stepping away from web-based wrappers. A new team at Microsoft will rebuild apps using native tools like WinUI. Engineer Rudy Huyn is involved in this shift. Apps like File Explorer should launch quicker. The Start menu and context menus will feel more responsive.

The remake getting rid of his eyes glowing red at night like a ganado is such a weird omission, it was such a small, almost missable detail that added such a layer of mystery to his character, that and him showing back up after being killed

RE4R having the Merchant always standing in a fully decked out storefront is a tremendous addition to the sense that he's just somehow showing up in places, and it's completely torpedoed by the heavy suggestion that there's a bunch of them instead of just one dude running around.

@arne__ness yeah that might not work. i think there are many use cases that do make sense tho! In my case I wanted a way to enrich a static text-narrative site (vibecoded in less than 1h). trying to enrich the story even more with interesting animations for given story beats

@Lewchube All they had to do was build off of this game. Champions still feels so lifeless. No frontier, no movement for attacks, not even PLA movement, and the pokemon need updated battle poses. This is the new BATTLE game, and its stale smh.

@LavenderGhast RE4R put the game where the whole fandom wanted it to be. Now it's not comedic enough. Make up your mind. Which by the way, I would argue that the remake has better comedy, it's just non-existent in cutscenes and is more of a slice-of-life horror comedy.
