Today, Mayor Guillermo Nurse released an official statement highlighting the urgent need for meaningful immigration reform in the United States.

The City of Oxford has appointed Captain Christa L. Curl as Acting & Interim Chief of Police. She will serve as Acting Chief beginning Nov. 7, 2025, and will assume the Interim Chief role following Chief Patricia Ford’s departure on Nov. 14, 2025.
