@TheSurajKannan The disease modeling literature reflects perturbed membrane-associated proteomes, PTM states and splicing, whether causative or secondary to the altered homeostasis. Would be great to start querying these in PSC-CM maturation, but in vivo controls for proteomics are tough.

@TheSurajKannan This is in clear contrast to in vivo CMs, which your lab has demonstrated to have a much more evident trajectory toward "maturity".

This is a really data-rich contribution to the PSC-CM maturation literature. A lot of maturation papers are unfortunately haphazard but this one is thoughtful in its iterative optimization and rationale behind the tested media components. Thorough functional measurement as well.

Excited to share our new preprint coming out of @TBEP_UofT, where we demonstrate enhanced physiological maturation of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (heart muscle cells)! biorxiv.org/content/10.110… (1/20)

Thanks to @craigsimmons11, @seema_mital, @milicaruoft, @FilioBillia, and all the other coauthors @trogersresearch for the wildest PhD project I could have imagined! (20/20 = I'm done now)
