The Finance Minister claims he recused himself. But, the Ethics Commissioner seems to have no record of it. We need to get to the bottom of this.

Unacceptable. Democracy is DEAD under Mark Carney.

@mferreriptbokaw It’s too late. His wife begins working do Alto in August 2025. In the early winter in 2025 he voted in the House for the estimates to send his wife’s company $507 million this year alone. He has already broken the conflict of interest and ethics rules.

@dsimieritsch @JenniferLiaXi He introduced the budget and spending estimates and voted for them when the estimates allocated $597 million alone this year to Alto directly where his partner is an executive. This is one of the biggest ethical breaches so far in 11 years of Liberals.

Sorry to all of you US haters. Americans are not flocking into Canada at the rates we think. As a matter of fact, more Canadians are going to the US. And, stay calm, it’s not racist, it’s about Canadian high levels of taxes and regulation. nationalpost.com/news/canada/da…

Where is food inflation actually happening? Not everywhere. Over the last 12 months, in Canada, the biggest price increases in Canada are concentrated in a few key categories: 🥒 Cucumbers: +43% 🍗 Whole chicken: +42% 🥬 Celery: +36% ☕ Coffee: +25% 🥩 Beef: +24% 🍓 Strawberries: +22% 🍅 Tomatoes: +19% 🛢️ Vegetable oil: +17% 🫑 Peppers: +14% 🌰 Almonds: +14% Meanwhile, many staples remain stable: Milk, bread, rice — barely moving. With oil now above $110 U.S. and transport surcharges starting, Stage 1 is here.
