Larry’s star shone brightest during his service as District 6 Chairman from 2002-2010. Since then, not a day has gone by when we haven’t missed Larry’s integrity, his fidelity to the rules, focus on the kids, and his willingness to listen. Thank you, Larry. Enjoy the day. (2/2)

Happy birthday to one of the good guys of the @AmericanLegion, Larry Connors. Larry, a Past Department Commander and Past National Executive Committeeman, continues to serve on the Department Athletic Committee, and he always understood @legionbaseball was about the kids. (1/2)

We at Post 14 do not support this behavior, nor any attempts by adults to claim "ownership" of a baseball - which can be had for $99 a dozen - over a kid to whom the ball holds a priceless value. Great job by the Marlins and Phillies employees helping out the family afterwards.

Congratulations to @280Baseball of Chesapeake, Virginia, on an impressive run through the @ALWS_Shelby, culminating with a dominating performance tonight over a very good team to win the 2025 National Championship.

Congratulations to @GreecePostBSBAL on the @legionbaseball Northeast Regional championship and good luck at the @ALWS_Shelby. Kudos to @post397 for another nice job hosting and a good run themselves to the last day. On this year’s road to Shelby, all rhodes lead to Greece.

Special shout out to @Steve_Maze and all the folks at @MorrisetteBall for putting on an outstanding American Legion State Tournament this past week at Adams Field in Quincy. Everything was done in a first-class manner. Good teams and good talent on display as well.

Congratulations to a well-deserving American Legion State Champion @FRPost464, after a five-day run through the @2025_MSLT. Hope Tommy Arruda is proud. Fall River's first State Champion since his 1990 Spindle City team with Mike Martin and Jeff Davis. Good luck in the regionals.

Our junior team lost the other night, 7-6, to Dedham, to conclude its season. Thanks to all the players and coaches for their work to a successful season. Congratulations and good luck in the junior state tournament to D6 champion Weymouth Post 79.

Our junior team defeated North Attleboro, 15-5, in an elimination game yesterday. Post 14 continues in the district junior tournament with a game tonight vs Dedham Post 18 at 7:30 at Memorial Field in Dedham.

Post 14’s junior team’s playoff game last night vs. Weymouth Post 79 was suspended in the fifth inning due to rain. The game will resume tonight, Saturday, July 26, at 8:00 at Libby Field in Weymouth.

Be sure to catch Post 14's junior team in its first District 6 Tournament game tonight, Friday, July 25, at 5:15 pm, vs. Weymouth Post 79 at Stella Tirrell Field in South Weymouth. The winner of this tournament will advance to the junior State Tournament next weekend.

Special thanks and good luck to Connor Falahee, Liam Fitzmaurice, Adam Hess, Will O'Donnell, Will Saratella, and Jason Waarich, who completed their American Legion eligibility. They gave us many great moments, and they are a credit to their families and to this community.

A tough loss, 8-5 to North Attleboro yesterday, and that will bring down the curtain on Post 14's 2025 season. A nice run in the playoffs with three thrilling wins to get to yesterday's championship. Good luck to North Attleboro Post 49 representing District 6 in the @2025_MSLT.

Next game is on Tuesday, vs. North Attleboro Post 49 again, at 5:30 pm at North Attleboro High School. Winner advances to the State Tournament @2025_MSLT on Saturday.

Then Colin O'Donnell doubles him in to tie it, Ryan Volante is safe on a sacrifice, David Ching works a walk, Brendan McHugh hits a sac fly for the lead, and later Garrett Falahee blows it open with a triple. Will Saratella also went the distance on the mound for the win.

What a game. 7-2 over North Attleboro after trailing 2-1 in the 7th, and it looked like we couldn't get the best of North Attleboro's outstanding pitcher Nick Daley. Then Will Saratella puts down a beautiful bunt for a hit to start the seventh...

Survive and advance. Post 14 is a 4-2 winner over a good Hingham team, behind a complete game from Liam Fitzmaurice and some manufactured runs. We stay on to play North Attleboro Post 49 half an hour from now. A win will force a winner take all championship tomorrow.

Next game is tomorrow, Monday, vs. Hingham Post 120, at Bishop Feehan High School at 5:45. That is an elimination game. Winner stays on to play North Attleboro Post 49 in the nightcap.
