We all carry a quiet longing, to return to where we began. To the streets that knew our footsteps, to the people who knew us before the world did. We leave, promising ourselves that one day, we will come back. When everything is achieved, we will return. But that day keeps moving forward. And when life finally slows, we realise things have changed. Not just the place… but us also. The faces are familiar, yet distant. The lanes are the same, yet different. Time moved on quietly and steadily, carrying everything with it. And somewhere in that distance, we painfully understand you can only revisit a place, but not the time.
