Stories like this confirm my thoughts last week. Sealed product is being ripped at a pace never seen before. Rip n Ships and live breaking has forever changed the hobby. I just don’t see a future where sealed doesn’t continue to violently increase in price.

Sometimes it takes years to be heard, but once a court accepts your case, there’s literal timelines you MUST meet otherwise the court decides in the other parties favor.

Many prebuilt systems are marketed with a base configuration of 32GB RAM, but sellers often add extra RAM discreetly for various reasons:
- Leftover stock
- Small performance upgrades
- Mixed DIMMs (2×16 + 2×8 = 48GB)
- Bundles that aren’t reflected in the listing
It’s important to note that marketing pages often lag behind actual builds.
As long as the system boots properly, runs smoothly, and the RAM is compatible in terms of speed and timings, there’s nothing inherently wrong with this situation.
It’s not uncommon to encounter this scenario.
It’s not a sign of fraud.
It’s simply a reflection of how prebuilt systems and inventory management work.
