@Miss_N28 Set the tone. Be firm. Don't teach unless they are quiet. Might feel like you're waiting the whole day sometimes but you'll have them in no time. Get them to line up again & again till you get the response you want. It's worth it. Just be firm and drill the expectations.

@MissS_Year5 @MrTs_NQTs Please do not refuse . It's an opportunity to observe experienced teachers or have conversations with others. Go to a different KS, shadow SEN, spend a day in EYFS. It's learning and reflection time. #CPD #edutwitter #ECT

@MrTs_NQTs Apparently I’m entitled to a day out of class every term for ECT stuff. Is that a requirement or can we say no? I don’t have a clue what I’m supposed to do with a whole day and I just want to be in my classroom
