SOV 20 Shelbyville 49 after three quarters of varsity football

The SHS Mandatory Player-Parent meeting for high school students and their parents/guardians participating in football, football cheer, golf, volleyball, cross country, and girls swimming will be held on Wednesday August 14th at 6:00 PM in the SHS gym. Please plan to attend.

The Sullivan Community Band will present their final summer concert this Friday, June 21st at 6:30pm in Wyman Park. Come enjoy a great performance! Rain plan is the SMS Gym. Thanks to R.R. Best at the News-Progress for the photo!

Sullivan Elementary honored Mrs. Sanner this morning, which will be her last day as secretary at the school. Over her 32 years at the school, she has made a tremendous impact on a great number of lives and her impact will continue to be felt for years! SES loves Mrs. Sanner!

Each month, Sullivan Elementary School awards "Gold Slips" to students who go above and beyond expectations. Mrs. Hobbs caught Collin Shain picking up trash as he was waiting to get on the bus. Very cool Collin! Way to repspect school property!

The Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond softball game against Breese Mater Dei has been postponed because of poor field conditions. The semifinals sectional game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 22 at 4:30 PM.

WSS softball scored a run in every inning but the sixth to shutout Effingham St. Anthony 10-0 and advance to the sectional championship at 4:30 p.m. at Macon Friday.

Today was planting day at SES! Mrs. Hendry, along with community volunteers Sue Yarnell, Erica Lehman, and Dave VanDeursen, helped students plant this year's garden.

Congratulations to Esther Miller, Natalie Drury, Emily White, and Zoe Walton on all qualifying for the IHSA Class A State Track Meet in the 4 x 4; Miller also qualifies in the 400 and triple jump! #onetribe!

Varsity baseball defeats ALAH 5-0 to finish conference play 10-2 and win their 6th straight conference championship! The boys are now 14-8 overall and will finish the regular season with a non-conference game against Leroy on Monday at 4:30 at OVHS! Congratulations boys! #YNotOV
