There are decent and honorable people in Somaliland. Not everyone has abandoned their principles, their faith, or their sense of Somali identity
But that does not change the fact that there is a small group that has completely lost its moral compass. They are willing to feed anti-Somali narratives, provide information to hostile accounts targeting Somalia and Somalis, they also played a role in the decision that led to Omar Artan being denied entry.
What I don't understand is what exactly did Omar Artan do to them? What does a football referee have to do with their political project? Why are they willing to go after fellow Somalis with such hostility and bitterness?
That is exactly why they will never achieve their goal, and Allah will grant us victory over these extremists.
