@King17Zuri @KingFemi__ He was sacked because he called out the incompetent board and owners brother for lying to him…. 👍
English

@Niall2Read @KingFemi__ What was Amorim’s job?
He didn’t even know if he was a head coach or a manager
He was sacked because of results but rather the job being too big for him
English

@terryflewers This might be one of the worst, most delusional takes I’ve ever seen. The mighty Brentford dominated most the game and has had us camped, retreating into our own box at Old Trafford and we were once again living off moments.
English

Carrick deserves huge credit. That switch to a back 3at half time completely shut Brentford down. Outside of a wondergoal, they had little. That is top-level coaching.
This is also a team that has now scored in 22 consecutive Premier League matches, a run not seen since 2013. That is not luck, that is structure, patterns, and belief being drilled into the side.
And let’s not forget the noise around him. Doubts, criticism, people questioning everything he does. Yet he keeps delivering, keeps adapting, keeps getting results. People need to start giving him the credit he deserves

@AngelinaKelly @FlexUTD @JamieJackson___ Carrick is a puppet for the owners. He’ll just do whatever they say/want 👍
English

I LOVE Maguire, Heaven & Yoro but centre back should be right up at the top of Manchester United's priority list.
Murillo or Marcos Senesi would be good additions (stay away from van de Ven!). Maybe Myles Lewis-Skelly as a left-back too?

Carrick says centre back “not an area of concern for me at this moment in time” #MUFC plan to run with same 5 CBs next season but De Ligt could force reappraisal if situation doesn’t improve & there’s Martinez’s history Murillo/Van de Ven admired ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…
English

Proper puppet. Exactly what the owners want 👍

🚨 At the moment, Michael Carrick seems happy with the squad that he has. 🗣️ Carrick: "I haven’t got concerns.” “We’ve got a mixed blend of experience, real quality and two promising, young players that have already shown what they can do.” [@TelegraphDucker] #mufc

@LfcShaunjudge Have some fuckin shame mate. You won the league spent double what we did in the summer. We finished 15th. Absolutely embarrassing.
English

Nobody on God’s green earth thought we will end up third, dare I say even Carrick himself. But all of a sudden people now have standards and he’s not good enough and his football is not ‘sustainable’ 😂

🚨🎙️ | Bruno Fernandes on Michael Carrick: “When Michael came in, we NEVER thought at this moment, we would be third.”
English

@freedomDRCongo @badasskachii That’s literally the only point I was making
English

@Niall2Read @badasskachii If it was only data that mattered, Harry Kane would have a Balon Dor. You might get stats but if I get half your stats but win some trophies, I'll win it
English

@freedomDRCongo @badasskachii I never once said it was only data that mattered? 😂🤦🏻♂️ but they’re there for a reason! People get employed thousands of pounds to produce stats, because they give you an indication on performance…
English

@liamjb23 @UnitedStandMUFC Wasn’t backed? They signed him Ronaldo ffs 😂
English

@Niall2Read @UnitedStandMUFC He wasn’t back by the board. And let’s not ignore the fact that the Premier league allowed man city to delay games because they had players with Covid whereas other teams were forced to play without their players that had Covid. This isn’t brought up enough.
English

@skidos_g @badasskachii You’re definitely one of those who thought we played really well against Chelsea just because we won…
English

@Niall2Read @badasskachii Blind faith in results ? Must be rage bait at this point
English

@freedomDRCongo @badasskachii What’s the purpose of data then brother? Why is it used if that’s the case? It’s actually the people that use data can explain why it’s relevant. Rather than someone’s opinion being solely based around blind faith in results.
English

@Niall2Read @badasskachii People who know nothing about football use data.
English

@liamjb23 @UnitedStandMUFC Is once not enough? This situation is literally identical to the ole interim period. Feel good factor, fans clamouring for it, good vibes, it’s identical. But we all know how it ends.
English

@Niall2Read @UnitedStandMUFC How many times did they make in an emotionally nostalgic driven decision as far as managers?
English

@kalungibenja1 @utdreport @TheAthleticFC So he’s better and has been platformed properly in Amorim’s system? 😂🤦🏻♂️
English

@utdreport @TheAthleticFC Context matters. Amorim had him as RWB with more freedom/space on the overlap. Carrick’s playing him higher/wider as a proper winger in a different shape. Still creating chances and dribbling well end product will come back with confidence and better service. Not worried yet

Carrick effect? 👀
Bruno Fernandes says United “never thought” they’d be 3rd when Michael Carrick came in.
The mood has changed. The belief has changed. But is Carrick now proving he deserves the Manchester United job long-term?
Would you give him the job permanently? 🔴 #MUFC
