@spongebobfan360 @twosonsangel 4 does have a translation mod that released a bit ago if you have a modable/emulated switch. i lowkey did not finish it tho very very different gameplay and vibes to prior entries 🥲

@twosonsangel yes the first one has a remake(?) on the switch and the fourth one was a switch exclusive but they're both japan-only releases and don't have an english localization 😀

@spongebobfan360 word is that nintendo owns localization rights for 1 and they just were too lazy to pay/work with them to localize the switch port for that one. but also yes they are insanely stupid

@_callmesebby i’m not opposed to plantner ralsei but i do feel like he’s probably a secret fourth thing that’ll he touched on later. or he might be something like the darkner for darkness itself

@_callmesebby the cope i’ve seen is that ralsei doesn’t like how flowery explains things and he may not personally distinguish plantners being any different than darkners. which i could maybe buy but just dumb to me had him explicitly say he’s a darkner in 3 when he is vaguer other times

@Radshyguy the weird route rendition of the festival theme is called happy_town.ogg already so that one may be cooked. but thematically fits the point of mother 3’s happy town? where it’s like a off putting version of tazmily village theme / going alone. very tricky!!

just wanna say the undertale sound test is genuinely so unsettling, more than anything else tony has tried to make offputting. every song in it is uncomfortable and how it pops out of nowhere is so odd, if i saw that for the first time when playing alone at night i'd piss myself

@yandhiisntreal Slightly related but I remember "backwards Undertale theory" and how it turned from a cute lil bit of parallel that at the time may or may have been coincidental to "THIS MEANS WE CAN PROVE THAT THE NEXT CHAPTER IS JUST LIKE THIS BIT FROM UT" to now being basically debunked.

@nexshrk only thing that would annoy me about ralstree is the fact that he explicitly states hes a darkner. just really weird to go out of the way to note that flowers are neither lightner/darkner and then still have him say that. just lying for no reason when he could’ve said nothing lol
