@MurdocksMother Yes. They absolutely must. Mark choosing to forego heroism and be "selfish" (according to the entity) is the culmination of a huge part of his character arc. The scene where he chooses his daughter over the lives of everyone else who died is one of the best in the entire series.

Do y’all think invincible is gonna do the reboot arc? I have incredibly mixed feelings abt this arc cuz its lowkey filler and ruins the status quo but the stuff in the past is so entertaining

@the_Bradster007 I will never forgive them for ruining the mystique of an era-spanning haunted board game for some uninspired video game plot. Stranger Things made D&D mainstream, and actual tabletop games are in a huge Renaissance but Hollywood can't be bothered to make a movie for real nerds.

@RyanOttley I would even argue that the small and niche audience was a blessing, because it gave Mark something Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Peter Parker will never have - an Ending! It's elevated and strengthened by the fact that it got to finish and never hit "milk it forever" popularity.

Yes, the invincible comics are selling now better than they ever have. The readers we did have throughout the original release absolutely loved the book and wondered why more didn’t read it. But we all know why, most readers back then would tell you “I’m more of a Marvel guy.” Etc, It’s just most comic readers during that time were not interested in new superheroes. It took a hit tv show to bring in new readers into the industry. And the more fans I meet, the more I see that anime fans who are used to buying the manga are really jumping into Invincible in a huge way. And they are watching the show, and getting the books. It’s amazing to see! Nothing harder than bringing new readers outside of comic fandom into our world of comics! Comic industry mainly has sold to its inside readers for decades. So hitting a new giant group of readers is phenomenal. And almost impossible.

@rabitatsalem It's intentional. One of the themes being explored is repeating threats because "heroic" solutions maintain the status quo or make things worse. Titan was prepared to turn himself in to protect his family but Mark beats his ass and sends him back into the arms of a criminal org.

@8DirtyBird @InvincibleHQ Last season I switched to waking up early the next day to watch them with a bowl of cereal, and I highly recommend it. This show borrows so much from classic Saturday morning cartoons that it just feels right to watch them that way.

@Cuneyt_S_Sevi Putting all my money on Timeloop Theory. The characters are trapped in a single week that resets Chapters 1 - 7. So yes, there is only one "ending" but reaching that ending is going to be a huge task requiring multiple playthroughs.
