Not sure either of us have much of a promising career in podcasting after this... but @JisungYuk and I gave a spoken summary of our recent @JNeurophysiol paper at the link below if anyone wants to check it out!

@Fabs_Lab Haha, will those funds be your excuse to go and see the Spurs newest addition (and your fellow countryman) from the draft in action?

@Nick_Kitchen Now looking for funds to study the role of proprioception in Spurs basketball ;-) You may know one this one 'On the Role of Proprioception in Making Free Throws in Basketball' pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25775217/. Made in France! Obviously very important in training, rehab, stroke research

Really interesting new paper from @Fabs_Lab investigating possible basis of proprioceptive lateralization, comparing sighted and congenitally blind adults on joint position matching of the upper limb sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

@Fabs_Lab Yeah super interesting. I've often though about whether an aspect of ND arm motor lateralization might reflect specialized circuits for processing prop. feedback (though your 2020 JNP paper with GL suggests not necess.). I'd never thought of an acquired/experience based mechanism

@Nick_Kitchen Thanks for the shout out Nick! We predicted supranormal proprioception in blind but without any visual feedback for 'calibration', that proves difficult. In terms of lateralization, we add more evidence for a non-dominant arm advantage, consistent with some motor control litt.
