@FilmLandEmpire It's something for a film to create one perfect partnership, but PHM magics two. Gosling & Rocky, Gosling & Sandra. I adored her.

There’s something about Sandra Hüller’s performance in PROJECT HAIL MARY, both precise and effortless. She softens the edges of a character who, in the book, was a bit one-dimensional and annoying, making her far more human. And that karaoke scene!

@BenSTravis I was rooting for that one. Truly magnifying. And traumatising. But in a good way ?

Damn, no Oscar win for The Ugly Stepsister. But it still wins the award for Film That Made Me Feel The Most Physically Sick, so that's something

I wasn’t sure if it was just me but I’ve felt a real tension in the air at the #LFF this year. Exasperated and/or rude audiences, arguments about to break out, lots of shushing… I get we’re all angry all the time and 95% of us have a cold atm but bloody hell
