When I first heard about the arson attack against Jewish ambulances in London, my first thought was of the real victims: politicians. How sickened and outraged they must be! I wrote this guide to help them out at this difficult time. Link in first reply.

Now comes the social media double whammy. Four ambulances of a volunteer service for north west London, staffed and financed by the Jewish community for everyone's use, are destroyed. That's followed by social media posts attacking Jews for having their own ambulance service...which we don't have. Because they are an act of charity. For everyone. It's like saying St John's Ambulance is 'for Christians'. Which it isn't. It's also for everyone. But it's Jews, so what does the truth matter?

Acts of "petty symbolism". Can't wait for the Guardian line on burning ambulances.

Looking forward to another day of platitudes from our ruling class. “I condemn these attacks…” “No place for antisemitism in the UK…” Blah blah fucking blah. If politicians actually cared, they would take action over empty words. That they do not take action says it all.

The “F*** the Jews… rape their daughters” convoy were released without charge. The hate marches with antisemitic imagery and chants were not halted. We have antisemitic artwork in galleries. Those who could’ve stopped it, didn’t. And it was a choice.

You know you are an antisemite when.. Your outrage is directed at a Jewish charity for running ambulances, rather than at the fact those ambulances were deliberately targeted and torched.

The deliberate arson attacks against Hatzola ambulances in London are a particularly sickening assault - not only on the Jewish community, but on the values we share as a society. Our Hatzola volunteer ambulance corps is an extraordinary service, whose sole mission is to protect life, Jewish and non-Jewish alike. The targeting of Hatzola by people so committed to terror, hatred and the desecration of life is a most painful illustration of the ongoing battle between those who sanctify life and those who seek to destroy it. At a time when Jewish communities around the world are facing a growing pattern of these violent attacks, we will meet this moment with shared resolve and stand together against hatred and intimidation.

As a staunch Zionist, let me say without hesitation, arrest these criminals and throw the book at them. Violent tribalism should never be accepted. If we're going to have peace in the region, we can't let extremists control the narrative through acts of terror.

Absolutely sickened to my core by this antisemitic attack. I visited this @HatzolaNorthLDN base in December and met one of the most selfless groups of people - volunteers who do all they can to help the local community 24/7. Urgent action is needed.

What words are there for attacking ambulances? Or a concert full of pre-teen girls? Or a dance class for small children? I make my living with words, but my cupboard is bare.

Either ban the weekly antisemitic hate marches or shut up.

My god, but they’re pathetic

You must be seriously morally defunct if you attack ambulances that assist Jewish and non-Jewish communities. We who work on tackling anti-Muslim hate are sickened by the continuous, long term and normalised antisemitism that has been going on for decades. Enough.
