Nigerian Testers

Passion is extraordinary fuel for starting, but it’s a terrible operating system for sustaining.

Testing should go deeper than confirming that features respond as expected. It should cover how the system performs across different conditions and whether it remains stable when usage is not predictable. It should also ensure that outcomes are consistent.

A “working app” is not a good app. If users have to retry actions, refresh pages, or guess what to do next, your product is already failing quietly.

Proper testing goes beyond confirming that a system works. It requires checking how it behaves under pressure, how it handles unexpected inputs, and how it responds when things do not go as planned.

Most founders don’t test products. They launch, watch, and hope users don’t complain. That’s not a strategy. Testing is non-negotiable.

If your app frustrates users once, they might forgive you. Twice? They’re gone. Testing is not optional.

Most Nigerian startups don’t have a testing process. They just “try it and see if it works.” That’s not testing. That’s gambling. And it doesn't work that way.
