Just got back from the theater and I thought the movie was fantastic! Gorgeous space scenery, solid emotional core, and while there were lots of jokes nearly all of them landed. Fast pacing, but still plenty of impactful slower scenes. Overall I really recommend Project Hail Mary

@ProtendoYT I think something like this probably makes the most sense, similar to how Splatoon got rid of strict genders and went to styles instead

The way I’m picturing it, a Mii will go “I’m looking for love, but I don’t know who to pursue!” at which point the game will provide a list of their top friendships for you to suggest from, unrestricted by gender. So all options stay present while orientations remain intact

The way I’m expecting Tomodachi Life to do romance now is basically just increased player agency. As helpful as a straight up sexuality selection would be, I think they’ll just have all romances available to all Miis and allow you to encourage certain pairings yourself

Obviously there’s a million things I’d like to see from this, but my number one request has got to be the grand return of the concert hall Like half of all my play time in the original was spent making stupid songs and it was amazing
