officially leaving bangalore today.
i wanted to write an article with my thoughts on the city, and some of its problems but i don’t want to be the doomer on the timeline.
i think blr is a special place where any upstart with ambition and agency can not just succeed from 0 but also find other crazy ones who’ll become lifelong friends along the way.
despite its infra and socio-cultural/political issues, i think blr has the highest talent/sq. km ratio in the entire country with a healthy amount of fun things to do with run clubs and food clubs and quiz nights — all of these get a bad rep but i think blr’s people taking it upon themselves to infuse fun into the city is what makes it special.
i could write a whole article just tagging everyone i met in the last 1.5 years but you know who you are — ty for all the fun times!
will be back in june for a bit.
till then, bombay is calling. expect a lot of delhi/bombay/blr tweets in the next few weeks 🫡

No one pays tax like a salaried class. Except salaried, everyone decides how much income to disclose and how much tax to pay.
I looked at my yearly bonus pay slip. Neatly 35% of that has been taken by the govt.
