@ClueHeywood Linda stayed 1.5yrs. Renovations cost a lot of money, need to be recouped. Only thing she couldn’t handle was a new computer system. She didn’t want to learn and decided to retire. The place is four times as busy as it was the first year. That’s called successful/legendary!

@NookKitchen Linda left after the renovation. I can appreciate that maybe she couldn’t handle change, but the change in the place, and the vibe, and the prices was too much, off the bat. I don’t know why you’d buy a legendary bar and make huge sweeping changes then wonder why ppl didn’t stay.

@ClueHeywood Linda was never fired, neither was any OG staff. Lease was up and the landlord demanded change. I negotiated to have one year to run it as is, get to know the regs and then update it. Other option was to close. I was devastated when Linda quit, but she couldn’t handle change. 💡

@NookKitchen What “facts” about the Dilly are false? Place was a locals dive. Got gutted and original staff, including the indomitable Linda, are long gone. It was made into a cocktail bar that (opinion) was too nice and the prices were raised. The regulars moved on. It (opinion) sucks now.
