I was in a space earlier where an immigrant said how the wealthy British look down on us and are against us. Whilst not always the case, it is a lot. The men of money, the capitalists, the financiers - they worship wealth. To them it is a drug. The more they have the more they want. If you believe a rich person will sacrifice their wealth for you, then you’re wrong. They would have done it already if it were true. The elites will always support unfettered free market capitalism, as this is how they make money. Free market capitalism breeds immigration. If you think the wealthy are willing to close the borders, reduce their workforce, and increase their wages, therefore decreasing their own profits - I’ve got news for you. Nationalism will only truly succeed with socialist economics - otherwise you’re just voting for another populist who will strengthen the oligarchy. Now, who are these men of money? I’m sure we have an idea.
