Once, we hated the Jews because they were poor, and then we hated the Jews because they were rich. It flips and changes, mutating with every generation. However, whatever the language or the cause, it is still the same hatred, still the same loathing, still the same deadly virus.

On Sunday I spent 7 hours in A&E after being seriously assaulted in Foyle Street, #Derry. The attack was unprovoked, unexpected and totally random. The motive is not yet clear but the matter is now with the PSNI. I have suffered several injuries as a result. I will be taking a break from everything to try to physically and mentally recover. I want to note that I was not working when this happened. Now I'm just hoping for justice.
