If we do sign a left winger… my preference is to just stick Alvarez out there or force that Leao move everyone’s been asking for. HOWEVER… if we do get Anthony Gordon, despite a lot of the fanbase being against it… he’ll be this gen’s Ray Parlour for us. Bring if the gaffer wants.

What Bodo Gilmt did is nothing new. Every now and then we have small teams with limited resources doing well against the big teams in the Champions League. We have had Porto, Monaco, Ajax, Dortmund, etc. You can give BG the credit they deserve without undermining Serie A. Didn’t Serie A produce Champions League finalists last season?

So, it's not going to be Olympiacos for Arsenal for once in Europe after they were knocked out by Leverkusen tonight. Dortmund (2-0 up) face Atalanta tomorrow. Winner of that one will be the other potential opponent for Mikel Arteta's side. So it's looking very likely now that it will be a trip to Germany for Arsenal in the last 16.
