I don’t know what’s going on with Sal, but I do know I trust him. This man should never be sent down. Let him hit DH and Jensen take the plate if he needs some focus, but this man has seen more KC baseball than anyone in the stadium.

@KCMagicNumber Salvy is old and slow. That's just reality. He's consuming more calories than he's burning. His knees are worn out and he isn't playing well.

Okay. After hearing from Salvador Perez & Matt Quatraro, there’s no drama. Salvy is fine with a day off. He just didn’t like the “mental breather” quote, causing friends/family to reach out to see if he’s ok. Don’t think Q meant anything bad by it either. @kansasfpv They’re insufferable. If they love it so much, why don’t they make it the vibrant, lovely park they claim it is rather than a homeless drug haven where I’ve been assaulted and harassed for money on multiple occasions. Fuck that park and the bums who’ve destroyed it.

In a few years, the Streetcar will be rolling by a ballpark and bringing fans to games. For now it passes a vacant office building and parking lot.
