Today we marked the 40th anniversary of the Rite of Election, welcoming around 260 catechumens and candidates (a 30% increase on 2025 and our highest number ever to date) as they gathered to say “yes” to God. 
May this Lenten journey be one of grace, courage and new beginnings.

A wonderfully packed Cathedral for the Rite of Election. This year it was a bonus to have a little time to meet & pray with the parish groups of catechumens & candidates. A wide mix of ages including many young adults. #RiteofElection #HolySpirit
