At a meeting on integration of HIV/NCD care in Zanzibar, I met Anwar Fakil Ali, who's living with type 1 diabetes. I shared with him my experience of living with HIV & NCDs, encouraging him to never give up. Integration of HIV/NCD care is the way to go. #endAIDSby2030

During my visit at Jinja SS, I urged all girls and boys in the Busoga region to respect their bodies and take steps to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS.
On the hand, the Headteacher, Mr. Balimusangayo Isaac, told me that their School buildings are very old and in dire need of renovation and I assure that immediate attention is given to renovating the existing structures and constructing new ones. I'll also provide a school bus for the students.

Today in Masaka, I am meeting NRM leaders to discuss issues I have observed. Some leaders waste time speaking in Parliament instead of addressing the real problems of the wananchi. Leaders must expose corruption in their areas and demand solutions. They should not fear to speak about the achievements of the NRM government and to reject sectarianism based on religion and tribe. I thank my Muzukulu, Hon. Justin Nameere, for organising this meeting and commend her courage in insisting on a recount during the Masaka Woman MP race, which she won.

I am confident that our tertiary institutions, both public and private, have the capacity to absorb these learners.
The good performance by girls is commendable and I congratulate them on this remarkable achievement. I am particularly impressed by the steady increase in the number of girls taking science subjects and that they have done very well. This demonstrates that there is nothing mysterious about Mathematics and Sciences; what we now need is continued encouragement and strong role models.

I am pleased to note the rapid increase in candidature at the UACE examination level over the last three years. From 109,486 candidates in 2023, the number rose to 140,888 in 2024 and now stands at 165,175. This shows that more learners are progressing to higher levels of education. We thank God for this progress.
