For the past couple months, Nyseon Smith has been with the WEP Instrumentation & Electrical team. “It’s a very interesting place to work; you learn everything and coworkers always help.” Nyseon plans a long career as an electrician, and we’re proud to have him on the WEP team!

Our interns don’t just watch—they do! ⚡ This summer, LaBron Adkins worked with WEP’s Instrumentation & Electrical team, learning the trade and helping on projects like UV bulb replacements that help treat our water. We appreciate his hard work!

Meet Devon Sedlack! This summer, she worked with Collections Systems analyzing pump station data to help improve operations. A Chemical Engineering major at Clarkson, Devon is active in SWE & the University Swim/Dive team. We're glad she chose to intern with WEP! 🎓 All the best!

As part of #EngineersWeek WEP's Metro Plant welcomed 6th-8th graders from Liverpool to learn about wastewater treatment. They toured the facility and grouped up for a hands-on activity gaining insight into processes that make treated water safe for our local ecosystem. ⚙️💦
