This is what I'm talking about when I said those with an active lockup of 90% or 100% for 3 years will be the Kings & Queens of Pi Launchpad If you have such a lockup, and it was initiated on the Pi Wallet before February 20, you will receive a Standardized PiPower to participate in token launches on the Launchpad. What is the implication of this? For every app that you participate in, on the Launchpad, you need to have TWO SEPARATE PI BUDGETS for staking and committing. Now imagine there are 4 apps concurrently running on the Launchpad and you want to engage to buy their tokens. You'll need EIGHT SEPARATE BUDGETS from your Pi balance. Do you have enough? Most pioneers don't even have enough for one app (two budgets) — given the competitive nature of the staking. However, those with Standardized PiPower automatically receive an allocation FROM EVERY APP — without staking. This leaves them with more spare Pi to allocate to their budget for committing. And this means that they will be able to grab more opportunities in the Launchpad than those who do not have a ≥90% lockup for 3 years — because they only need Pi to commit (buy), while others need pi to stake before they can even commit. This privilege lasts for as long as their lockup is active.

The demand and hype for utility apps in the Pi ecosystem (already validated by past participation metrics). 2. The sky-high anticipation for Pi tokens. 3. Everyone’s natural hustle psychology. They saw that — even without direct incentives — apps on Pi already received massive engagement from people actually using them. So now they’ve attached tokens to apps and created incentives that work in INVERSE PROPORTION to collective engagement. The more people engage, the lower your individual incentive becomes. Psychologically, this pushes you to engage even harder — either to cushion the decline in your incentives or to increase them. (By engagement, I mean staking — not just using the app.) In short: stake more Pi to protect or boost your rewards. For actual app usage, it works the same way: the more you use an app, the higher your engagement score, which gives you a better discount on that app’s token listing price.
