#Culture : la nécessité de promouvoir et de vulgariser l'art lyrique de l'opéra sur la scène musicale en République démocratique du Congo (RDC), afin de démystifier certains stéréotypes sur la perception erronée qui réserve uniquement cet art aux cultures occidentales, a été évoquée par une artiste lyrique congolaise dans une interview accordée mercredi à l'ACP. "Mon plaidoyer vise à diversifier l’offre culturelle nationale et à positionner la République démocratique du Congo comme un acteur majeur de l’art lyrique sur le continent africain, car la musique d'opéra n’a sincèrement aucune place chez nous parce qu’elle est méconnue et mal vulgarisée, malgré nos efforts constants. (...) La musique n'a pas de couleur, ni de race, l’Opéra est un art universel. Je plaide pour que cet art soit intégré comme il se doit dans le programme du ministère de la Culture afin de lui offrir une plateforme institutionnelle solide", a déclaré l'artiste lyrique Dorcas Nende.
