The Ford government says supply cards will end teachers paying out of pocket for classroom supplies. But as #OSSTF President @marthahradowy told CTV News, the announcement is really an admission that classrooms are underfunded. “It’s like handing a firefighter a cheque and telling them to buy a hose before they show up to put out a fire.” The real solution is properly funding schools so the resources students need are already there.
