@Obeast09 @Mrorange45 it’s gotten bad. I’m listening to it like twice a week at this point. it’s such a good album but so draining. by the end I’m sitting there like I was in a car crash but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

@Mrorange45 it took me a while to get it, but after a couple listens, it's by far and away one of my favorite albums ever made. there is nothing quite like Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band's best.

this one is tough because it's like a perfectly fine album, but like, not at all what I want from the Captain and his Magic Band. I see its rym avg score is in the 2 range which I feel is a bit overblown, but I can definitely see why people are let down.

i think dusk n dawn gunblade riftmaker rylais are actually core on this champion, everything else is bait. your kit is not actually safe enough even with your w to jsutify the slightly higher burst imo

can any locke players explain why this champion isn't building tankier/bruiser style?
every time i play him i just feel like the utility of some lifesteal and sustain would make my life wayyy easier. i'm overbursting way too often for this to be efficient

@Obeast09 just reached the side break, and I think this is a really good album after feeling like the last two weren't quite up to the same level I have for Beefheart and the band. really digging this one though. the sound quality is really good too, Beefheart's voice is nice and prominent

@prog_1211 Safe as Milk, Mirror Man, Lick My Decals, Bat Chain Puller. Aside from Safe, mostly it's the stuff that leans experimental rather than slightly more conventional. But frankly all his stuff is worth hearing eventually that's my goat

beefheart oomfs what are your favorite albums by him and the magic band? I'm currently in the midst of going through all their records and ofc I love TMR, but I've also been really loving Safe as Milk and Lick My Decals Off so far, both are on the cusp of 10s for me.
