Good thing about this debate and controversy is that people will actually start reading or making content on the actual Valmiki Ramayana, and lot of new discussions will flourish, ultimately creating more depth and awareness until we finally hit the theatres this Diwali

If you've only studied Ramayana via TV serials, that's not my fault. Don't get triggered by authentic Valmiki Ramayana details. The serials didn't invent the story I'm simply echoing the scriptures. If I'm wrong, refute me with proof from the text,otherwise, attacks only weaken your stance.

Also lot of visuals look a bit bland for Indian taste, relative to western audience Typical Indian shots and visuals would have a lot more vibrancy and colours, with lot of life around Lot of those moments had emotional disconnect,maybe due to music mismatch and lack of dialogue

Visuals are good, but it's more of a montage with few clips of 2sec added up That first glimpse last year was a better video overall with music and whole setup reaching crescendo Maybe they had to patch up music+editing separately just for this and didn't deliver to that level

One interesting detail: it’s not yet confirmed whether Ranveer will portray Chandragupta Maurya himself. The information circulating suggests it may instead be a story set within that historical period, rather than a direct biopic—so the exact focus remains unclear for now. An official announcement is expected sometime in November. At present, discussions are underway with Jio and Birla, with one of them likely to come on board as the financier.
