As I said:
Collateralized loans are subordination vehicles.
Remember, Kraken is now a bank after securing their bank charter.
The financial-industrial complex can influence Bitcoin’s short-term price and force margin calls on Wall Street wrappers like $NAKA at the worst possible time, especially ahead of events such as a Kraken IPO, when peak valuations are needed to feed an AI bubble.
Then distressed assets become acquisition targets, while collateralized Bitcoin gets margin-called near the bottom.
That’s how financialization works.
The same securitization machinery that was applied to every other asset class has now been applied to Bitcoin FIC wrappers.
Meanwhile, Bitcoiners who held their Bitcoin in self-custody didn’t need permission, didn’t face margin calls, and didn’t have counterparties.
That’s the lesson.
Understand the incentives.
Then build your strategy accordingly.
Otherwise, you risk becoming a victim of the very leverage and paper-Bitcoin tools the FIC built around Bitcoin, quite literally using “Strategy” ($MSTR) and similar structures to influence Bitcoin’s short-term price.
