This is why you are stuck under $2,000/mo editing videos. Most editors think they are "building a business" when they take $100 jobs to pay for their software. They think: "I'll just do this until I have a better portfolio then clients will see my worth" That is a lie. You aren't building a business. You are a paying for the "privilege" of being underpaid. I learned this the hard way. I was working for an internet company in my country from home using my own laptop. But here is the funny part: I was using their internet to do their work and I was paying them full price for that internet every month. No discount or even "thank you." Just a bill so I could keep my job💀 I was paying my boss for the right to work for him. I see editors doing this exact same thing every single day... they pay: - $50/month for Adobe (if you do xD) - The electricity and the internet bills. - Food that gives you energy so you can keep going. I was doing the same thing while working on Fiverr, so I can't blame you. But I scaled to $1,500+ per video and helped multiple editors get to $5k–$10k+/month. And I didn't do it by working harder for more clients. I did it by picking the right ones and solving the right problems. We positioned our service as the solution to their revenue problems. The customers were happy, we won, they won, and everyone flexes That's the goal💪
