Between 2006 and 2015, the peak of Sahara Reporters being a thorn in the flesh of politicians in Nigeria, I knew Oga Sowore lived in the USA. In spite, I feared for his life. It takes a lot of courage to return to Nigeria and being everywhere in the public, from Lagos to Abuja to Ibadan. To the subject, it reminds me of my tweet of a few days ago about how public interactions in Nigeria make you lose your fonee over time 😀.
Omoyele Sowore@sowore

I once spoke in Ebonics, fluid, raw, and unfiltered, but over time, that part of my voice has faded. What remains, however, is the essence of what I was always trying to say, the message itself, undiluted and intact. Enjoy!

Don't waste your time. People don't care on this app as long as you're on their side. Iyin Aboyeji was forced off this app over his support for Elrufai. Those who cursed him are Elrufai's biggest supporters now.

People who do not know David Mark are the ones happy and thinking they found a good leader. One of the worst humans to have ever been in a position of authority in Nigeria. Very cunny and devilish.

Dear @BolajiADC, I think by now, the party should have realized that it's not fighting INEC only. We are fighting both INEC and the Judiciary. In that case, our handling of this case should not forget the Judicial ambush by the Court of Appeal. The only reference to the court Order by Sir David Mark in his press conference is that the interpretation given to the order is not correct, and that INEC should have gone to the court of Appeal to determine the status quo ante bellum. This approach does not suffice in my opinion. We need to know whether the party will obey the order, go back to the Federal High Court and apply for accelerated hearing, will it appeal the order to the supreme court, or will it approach the court of appeal itself for the interpretation of status quo ante bellum? Addressing these issues is equally as important as going ahead with the convention. Thank you.

You want to report INEC to Trump who is reportedly thinking of running for third term for himself. The same person who ignored the elections in Uganda and Tanzania.I don’t think we are among his top 50 priorities for now.Better you report to CAF.

I am not interested in any conference the ADC held or will hold. Let's be updated on the status of the cases in court. Are you appealing the court of Appeal's decision to the supreme court? Are you going back to the Federal High Court for the accelerated hearing? Are you taking INEC to court for the interpretation of Status quo ante bellum? All these media and noise will not save the party. Let's go to the root of the issue.

Believe me, Yoruba always put Nigeria on the map,no debate. Our boys pulled up in Yoruba agbada, their agbada stood out so much that others couldn’t help but admire it and even asked to wear it lol.😂 💪💪

@DeeOneAyekooto There is no two options. Na only one and that is mend fences with those aggrieved members, Kachikwu n Bala. Persuade them to withdraw the cases from court. All these must happen with few days. Otherwise Status Quo Ante Bellum is still in effect.

He's APC spokesperson for stating the true position of the law and the implications of the useless steps your party is taking. Ignore him, go ahead to fuck around and you'll find out, the APC had their fair share in Zamfara and Plateau states, heaven did not fall.
Peacock@dawisu

For a moment, I forgot he is the INEC Chairman and thought he was the APC spokesperson. Where is the neutrality expected of an election umpire? 🤔

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities. What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate. This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives. In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief. If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

ADC Leadership: I Disagree With the Conclusions Reached By INEC - Osaze Uzzi In INEC's extrapolation of the Court of Appeal's order, I have reservations: the court did not instruct INEC to withdraw recognition from either faction. It simply stated that all parties to the action should refrain from doing anything that would render the likely judgment nugatory. If I were advising the ADC, I would suggest they proceed with their plans, provided that doing so does not impinge on the majesty of the courts or their ability to deliver justice in the case. 'Let us come together' — PRP woos Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso after ADC leadership crisis The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has urged top chieftains of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, to unite under the party to safeguard Nigeria’s democracy. The call came amid the leadership crisis rocking the ADC, culminating in the derecognition of the David Mark-led leadership of the party and Nafiu Bala Gombe faction by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). thecable.ng/let-us-come-to…

ADC Claims Bala-Gombe Resigned, But the Signature in the Document is Doctored - Monday They wrote the letter, signed it, and backdated it just to drag Bala-Gombe through the mud. They claimed he resigned on 17th May 2025, but it took them months to inform INEC he had left. There are a lot of gaps. Dr Abimiku Monday, SA on Strategic Communications, to Nafiu Bala-Gombe
