Yoru has multiple different attacks that could one-shot Mahoraga.
1.) Nuclear Punch

Yoru vs Mahoraga

Kinda crazy only two good Ultimates are Ultimate Echo Echo and Ultimate Humangasour.
Everyone else is just a stronger version of themselves which is lame.

Yes, the invincible comics are selling now better than they ever have. The readers we did have throughout the original release absolutely loved the book and wondered why more didn’t read it. But we all know why, most readers back then would tell you “I’m more of a Marvel guy.” Etc, It’s just most comic readers during that time were not interested in new superheroes. It took a hit tv show to bring in new readers into the industry. And the more fans I meet, the more I see that anime fans who are used to buying the manga are really jumping into Invincible in a huge way. And they are watching the show, and getting the books. It’s amazing to see! Nothing harder than bringing new readers outside of comic fandom into our world of comics! Comic industry mainly has sold to its inside readers for decades. So hitting a new giant group of readers is phenomenal. And almost impossible.

No. As Robert Kirkman recently spoke of at Comics Pro, Invincible was a low selling comic that he propped up with Walking Dead sales. It ended as a result of the market not reacting to it. He had stated this repeatedly. Yet, as animation it is a massive success. Biggest zero to hero success of my lifetime. So please retire that take.

@OneWhoPurifies @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Crazy to think the universe is a quadrillion years old in invincible to me. Unfathomably old
English

Viltrumites as a society as advanced as they are makes no sense, it would if they were more medieval like and only have advantages because of their powers.
Kryptonians are so advanced because they aren't born with theirs on their planet so they had to adapt and value other things than strength.

This scene had me fucking tense, Nolan was really about to crush that little girl's head over getting a pop quiz question wrong.
English

@CilvisNova @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Ah I see, interesting to think of a bunch of monkeys flying through the galaxy and seeding planets.
English

@OneWhoPurifies @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 I mean the war they were created for was between the Human Empire and the Human Republic supposedly. Though it's been like a quadrillion years, so the humans today probably aren't much like the ones from that era.
English

@OneWhoPurifies @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Oh shit it does. In fact it sort of implies that humans are the ancestor, and viltrumites are sort of implied to be descendants of the genetically engineered super soldiers
English

@CilvisNova @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Yeah IIRC the info book still says humans and Viltrumites share a common ancestor right?
English

@OneWhoPurifies @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Oh that same info book does say that viltrumite and human compatibility is still likely due to the smart atoms to begin with.Human DNA is close enough that the smart atoms latch on and try to recombine it back to being viltrumite like and mostly succeed, thus why the DNA dominate
English
Kamijou Touma retweetet

@CilvisNova @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 It'd make sense because humans and Viltrumites are so compatible and basically look the same because they all share a common primordial ancestor that seeded Earth and Viltrum but that's very much something totally new from my perspective.
English

@OneWhoPurifies @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 I just double checked with the Invincible info book. Not even the book itself is sure whether smart atoms occurred naturally through evolution or if smart atoms were engineered into viltrumites dna.

@CilvisNova @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 This is the first time I heard of the idea that Smart Atoms were engineered in a lab and incorporated into Viltrumites.
English

@JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 The only reason viltrumites are as strong as they are is because of smart atoms. To my understanding, the people responsible for inventing them are lost after the first purge, after which their technology is largely looted from other populations.
English

@millorke @JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 This is before the Minus retcon, Toei canon depicts them as savages until Frieza inducts them into his Force.
Also you say that like Thragg isn't a good ruler.
English

@JSRGN2 @Fenrirtheicewo1 Not "brutal warlords" but instead one unified royal family ruled by an absolute monarch who, despite being the one in charge purely because of strength, is surprisingly well prepared and good at ruling.
