Some of their advertising material clearly marked their products as buffalo meat—called buff or carabeef in the industry—as did some of their brochures and certification. However, on Mithr’s website, several products are marked as beef, a term usually reserved for the meat of cows and bulls, while others specifically note buffalo meat.
