@yurikageyama I don't even know what the Japanese name of "The Merchant of Venice" would be... must of thrown her for a loop.

The lady at the deli who was putting my kale salad into a container today was very apologetic it wasn't 250 grams but more like 265 grams. So I told her: This isn't "The Merchant of Venice," referring to the bit about the exact pound of flesh. She had never heard of "The Merchant of Venice" but promised to look it up. So I did good today. A bit of Shakespeare never hurt anyone.

Our son Keita’s 11 hr surgery finished successfully. Now we all can rest.

We found out that the tumor has grown since the last surgery, and the doctors will be more aggressive this time to remove all of it.

My son is checking into the hospital for his second brain tumor surgery today. Prayers appreciated.
